Cancer-Pain.org Funding Statement

The development of this site was funded by an unrestricted educational grant from Anesta Corp.  Editorial control over all its content is the sole responsibility of ACOR.  Medical accuracy of the site content is overseen by a Editorial Advisory Board, members of which have agreed to service in this capacity on a voluntary basis. 

We believe we have succeeded in maintaining a balanced, educational approach with this website, including access to all therapeutic options available to patients to provide pain relief.  We welcome your comments on the site and its contents.

The cancer-pain.org website is ACOR’s first collaboration with a pharmaceutical company in the belief that through such collaborations, ACOR can provide new state-of-the-art resources for patients, caregivers and professional healthcare providers. .

Anesta a leader in the development of new pharmaceutical products for oral transmucosal drug administration. was acquired by another company and is no longer an active partner of ACOR.
